Hi, I would suggest making a playlist in iTunes. Then, go to iTunes preferences, and under advanced, make sure Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library and Keep iTunes Media folder organized is unchecked. This way, the music to iTunes won’t be duplicated on your drive and, there’s no way iTunes will mess up the way your music is organized on your Mac.
So once your playlist is created, you can add the music you want to put on your iPhone to it then sync.
