Are you just doing your voice? It so then garage band, Amadeus pro, audio 
hijack pro, or even Quicktime will do the trick. 
I prefer audio hijack since it is much more robust 
I have a a garage band tutorial on htb2.com but I'm on vacation and can't help 
you out any more
