Oh, so I set that from the sense unit itself! thanks, I'll try that and see what happens. I finally got rid of the continuous dots 7 and 8 by just turning off the "dots 7 and 8 to indicate cursor, on" button in VO utility. this is good, but knowing exactly where the cursor is, like what character, etc, would still be good.
