Blindsquare is more for intersection/POI announcements. It can tell you the 
distance and direction to a POI or address, but not give you directions there 
(though the developer has said he's looking to include that in the future). 
That's why the app supports pushing a destination to other apps like Google 
Maps or Apple Maps. That app gives you directions while Blindsquare continues 
to run in the background, speaking POIs and intersections. Also, Apple Maps 
will have turn-by-turn walking directions in iOS7, which should come out in the 
next few months, if not sooner. Both Apple and Google Maps are free, so your 
only investment is $24 for Blindsquare (yes, the price went up due to backend 
costs for the developer - there's a comment about it on the app's page on 
applevis.com).
