Hi Georgina,

A few years ago I did a podcast showing how to do this using Amadeus
Pro and a Griffin iMic. The podcast was on blindcooltech but I understand
that is now down. If you are interested I might still have a copy I can post
with a dropbox link. Although Amadeus has changed a little it is essentially
the same and I think it would still be a good starting place. In fact.
surprisingly, I'm still getting occasional emails from people finding it
helpful. I don't know where they are downloading it from.

It was called something like Vinyl to CD with Amadeus Pro

You would not need a Griffin iMic but I found it helpful. I made some good
recordings right out of the earphone jack from several sources.
