How can I determine the latest version of ABBYY fine reader express? And, when updating, do I need to uninstall the old before installing the new? is uninstalling simply a matter of trashing the app from the apps folder? ABBYY FR has a menu item for checking for updates. It takes me to a safari page where I can download an updates.dmg. My current version, just bought and downloaded yesterday, is 8.0.2.xxx.
