Hello: About using google maps solo I had no problem. This is with the new up-date so perhaps the version you were using was an old one? The podcast done by Mike Orego where he compared several gps apps was very helpful. The only difficulty I found was that sometimes the directions came to close to where the turns need to be made. There is a way to get a route overview however which would provide the entire set of directions before setting out. I will utilize this next time. I chose not to use Blind Square that time because there were people in the car who could see landmarks and it was an emergency. So being unfamiliar of how the two programs work together I didn't want to experiment just then. Also, I did the same thing again the next day to help someone move and was equally as successful. Jean
