Hi, Did you purchase the Mini with ML on it? If so, then you're kind of hooped. Apple has coding in firmware and such that makes it extremely difficult to go backwards from the originally installed from factory OS. If it came with Lion or earlier, then you can do a clean install of the older OS. You'll just need to backup all your current info then bring that info back manually.
