Anouk,

Go to the toolbar where you have your virtual machine open in VMware.
Interact with the devices groujp and then find the network button. You
can do this by editing the settings or going to the settings btton,
but it's easiest I think, and I hope I'm remembering this correctly,
but to select the bridged option when you click the popul menu button.
