Can you get sound any other way, like with headphones or a USB sound device? Do
you have a braille display you can use? I'm wondering if sound is simply muted,
and a display (or sighted person) could determine that easily enough. In my
next Talking Dashboard update I'll include a script to force the speakers to
un-mute and the volume to go to a certain percentage. Hopefully it's nothing
serious, but let us know.
