Hi, I guess my ease of use is because of the way I have Voiceover/my Mac set up. Just pressing F12 opens dashboard so, no need to go to the dock or applications folder. I also already have a keyboard commander shortcut to bring up the application chooser so, no need to press VO F2 twice to switch widgets. Plus, dashboard opens to the last widget you were using so, I find myself rarely needing to switch.
