Uh, did you check for the edit button at the top right of your screen?  That's 
where it is.  Anyhow, you want to press this edit button.  Now, every book you 
pass will have a delete switch which will be turned off.  From here, I'm sure 
you know the drill.  Turn the delete switch for a book on and confirm deletion.

HTH.  OH, don't forget to press the done button when through.
