Hi, No, I've not had that error in a long, long time. Is your computer set to go to sleep after so many minutes of inactivity? I'm wondering if it is doing so and thus losing your connection. Try going into System Preferences, Energy Saver and select the Power Adaptor tab. Tell it that you don't want the Computer to Sleep while the Power Adaptor is active. Do this by Interacting with the Slider connected with the Computer Sleep in the Power Adaptor pane, then VO-right arrow until VO announces "Never". Leave the other sliders alone and this will make it so that your computer does not sleep when plugged into power. The screen will still dim but the computer will not sleep. As long as you only set things this way in the Power Adaptor pane, it will not affect the Battery settings and thus not affect battery life.
