You man the status of your Mac? For info on your hard drive, just select it and then do a command-I to get info. Somewhere in the general section are stats on Capacity and Available. You can find out how much RAM is in your machine by poking around in About This Mac under the apple menu. VO-M to jump to the menu bar and navigate from there. The amount of RAM used depends on what apps you have launched at any particular time. You can check on that with the Activity Monitor app which is in your utilities folder (command-shift-u from the finder). At the bottom of the Activity Monitor window are several tabs, one of which is System Memory. In there you'll find all kinds of status including used and free memory amounts.

Hi,

I’m looking at installing Fusion 6, but before I do anything, I’d like to get
some idea of the hardware status such as available memory, disc space etc.

I’m sure it’s there somewhere, but can’t seem to locate it. I’m getting pretty
comfortable with the Imac now, but still have a lot to learn and old windows
habbits to break.

Thanks for any help,

Don
