HI Bryan,
First, double check you have the write plugin. The subject of your email says
Add to Your Cart plugin. If that is the plugin you have, then I think it's the
wrong one. Your cart and your wish list are different things. So first just
check you have the add to wish list plugin not add to cart.
Second, I'm not sure about having to sign into Amazon. It's been so long since
I set mine up. If it doesn't ask you to sign in or anything, then I'm guessing
it gets your login details from the cookie Amazon stores when you login there.
Third, I'll try and explain a little about how it works.
• Once you press the add to wish list button in the toolbar, a
new section appears on the webpage. It's down the very bottom of the webpage.
There's nothing to announce it has appeared, you just have to go there and look
for it.
• It will show you the price of the item, and ask you to type in
how many you want. the default quantity is 1.
• After this, at the very bottom/end of the webpage is a new
frame. VoiceOver announces it as Frame Zero. Interact with it and you will find
two link images titled add to list. I believe these allow you to pick a list to
add the item to. I always choose the last one and it seems to work. I don't
want to double check this now as I don't want to add anything to my wish list
and then have to remove it again. So there maybe other steps, but I think
you'll get the idea of what to do.
• In the beginning I needed to simulate a mouse click on the link
images and clickable text to get them to work, but now VO-space seems to work
just as well. As with many Amazon links, they are often not labeled well, and
you have to use a bit of guess work and trial and error.
