Hi, I have the mail configuration set to check for new mail every minute. This is with Mavericks. But, after I either start the machine and mail app or after I “wake up” the machine, it can take several minutes to get the mail downloaded. I know the messages are just sitting there on the server because I can see them on my notetaker which is set to leave messages on server.
