HI, Thanks for your help. I'll try switching punctuation to most. I probably have mine set to the default, which I believe is some. It's odd though as VoiceOver reads negative numbers fine for me if the cell isn't formatted as currency. It's also a little poor that VoiceOver doesn't recognise a hyphen before a number as a minus sign. Thanks again for your help. Cheers, Nic
