Well, if it's for training then it depends on how they implement things. VMWare is supposed to be emulating low level hardware so that stuff should work. That said, if you just want magnification the OSX one might do what you need while VMWare is running. On a laptop control + two finger stroke up increases magnification while down decreases. I don't recall if that gesture is on by default but the checkbox to turn it on in OSX 10.8 is in the Accessibility preferences under Zoom.

Speaking of VMware Fusion, you think windows magnification, narrator, or a
cheap alternative commercial magnification/screenreader run ok in that, as I
don’t think VO would be available there, much less Zoom with tracking.

Wonder if you'd be better served doing VMWare Fusion to host all these
different variants. There are some quirks with CapsLock and a few other things
but the overall experience is pretty good running Windows in a window. Then you
don't have to reboot everything and set up partitions just to switch between
OSes.

Hello everyone,

This is my first post. My name is Daniel Hawkins, I have been completely blind
for just over a year now. I just got my Macbook Pro last May. I have been
slowly learning on how to use the Mac interface and Voiceover. Since my goal is
to be an accessabilty trainer, I need to learn everything about technology for
the blind. So what I want to do is dual boot or triple boot on my Macbook. From
what I understand, Bootcamp does only one extra OS. So I was told to use
rEFINd, to make multiple partitions. however I think learning rEFINd is a
little over my head and I don’t know if it is accessible.

So my question is, do you guys know a way to dual boot to Windows 7 and or 8,
and maybe a Linux or two?

If anyone know an accessible way, or a link that can explain that, I’d very
very much appreciate that.

Thanks!
Daniel Hawkins
