hello:
The issue seems to be less with your syntax and more an issue with the actual code in the app you are using. Basically it's telling you you should have specified a timezone in the code (maybe that can be done through a config file of some kind)?

Hi, all,

I'm learning how to use this command-line interface for Facebook. I'm getting this error message every time I query Facebook for something. even if you haven't used it, you might be more familiar with the syntax than I am. It's php. I can do the things I need to, but I also get this message along with everything else.

Begin Error Message
Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to select your timezone. in /usr/local/lib/fbcmd/fbcmd.php on line 1291
End Error Message

My problem when using command line is that I don't know which values are exact syntax and which are supposed to be substituted by a different value.

Ideas? I'm just getting into all kind of adventures lately. :)

Thanks,
teresa
