Hi Brian, The key beside the f12 is the Eject key. Check in the Energy Saver System Pref pane, in the Power Adaptor tab, make sure the “Wake for Network Access” is not checked. This normally isn’t supposed to affect your machine if it is not plugged in but it could be a bug. Alternatively, if you have one of the newer units that can “Power Nap”, it could be waking for some backing up or syncing process that can occur during it’s nap.
