hit command-i on the file to go to the info dialog. Then keep going right until you get to the open with section. You will now see a popup button which will let you choose what application you want to use, so go ahead and change it. Now, only that file will open with that app. If you want all files of this type to open with it, keep going forward and you should see a change all button. And that’s it.
