That’s right. Read my earlier messages. You will find that no Mac version
exists. You would need to install the app on your idevice and sign in with
that app to your Apple ID. Now, say you want to find your phone using your
Mac, you would, on yoru Mac, go to:

www.icloud.com
and there, sign in using the apple ID with which you signed in on your idevice.
Now, there’s a frame up at the very top left once you press the Find my phone
button. That frame contains all the devices which are findable for you on that
Apple ID. If you then press the Iphone button in that group of devices, you
will get a map showing you where your phone is. You can just tab past this as
with the Mac and Voice Over, the data seems to be totally unreadable. However,
tabbing past this point will reveal controls with which you can force your
found device to play a loud sound for about two minutes, or, you can remotely
wipe out your device entirely. Also, you can put the device in lost mode which
gives you other options.

Sent from my Mac, the only computer with full accessibility for the blind
built-in!

Sincerely,
The Constantly Barefooted Ray, still a very happy Mac and Iphone 5 user!
