Congratulations, reggie! :) Sending an email to my mom was the first thing I did on the Mac, so I can relate. That was almost four years ago! Wow.
The command line in terminal is based on a Unix-like operating system. You might call it a cousin to Linux. It’s called BSD. The more tekkie folks can give you more detail, but that’s as much as I know. On web pages, you can use VO-command-N to go to auto web spots. This will mostly find different sections on the web page. Similarly, you can use VO-command-J for form fields and VO-command-l for links. You can use shift with these keys to reverse the process. If you’re doing a bunch of web navigation, you can lock your VO keys with vO-semicolon, and then toggle this off the same way when you’re done. With VO lock on, just press j for form fields and l for links. You can also use quicknav, which I don’t use much, and others can tell you more about. Hth, Teresa Slow down; you'll get there faster.
