Hi,

Chrome is an app copy, not an installer package. Use cmd-c to copy and
cmd-option-v to Move the .dmg file that you put into your Applications folder
onto your Desktop. Once it is on your Desktop, use cmd-o to open the disk
image. From within the disk image window, navigate to the Google Chrome
application and copy it with cmd-c Press cmd-shift-a to open your
Applications folder and cmd-v to Paste it into there. You cannot use the
cmd-option-v command here as the disk image is read only thus you're unable to
move it out of the disk image. Once the copy is complete, close any windows,
eject the disk image, Trash the .dmg file and you should be able to use Chrome
from your Applications folder and/or use cmd-ctrl-shift-t to move it to the
Dock so it can be opened from there.

HTH.

Later...
