Hi everyone,
Just joined the list. Got a MacBook Pro recently, and will start
training on it next week.
First of many questions, but will not fire them off too quickly. I
am switching from Windows 7 to the Mac. One program that is not yet
supported by OS X Mountain Lion is Duxbury. I will keep the Windows
laptop to run that and MS Office.
I had asked Enabling Technologies, who makes the Juliet embosser, if
the embosser will work connected via USB to the Mac with Windows on it.
This is their response.
"...in a dual boot environment rather than in a virtual machine.
However, we have not tested this."
Does this mean I cannot use VMWare for this? If so, will dual boot
be accessible anyway? What is the difference between the two modes? I
hope to get answers I can put to use during the training. Thanks.
