Well, I don't know bout that. My stratigy is to save the actual disk image files in which the apps are to Drop Box. Then, when the new install is done, load all those disk images in and install the apps. As to the serial numbers, Save those in .txt or .rtf form to Icloud and then, as you reistall apps, apply the data you saved. Job done.
