Hi,
I need to know that if I start my MacBook with command+R, Will there be speech in Recovery mode? And, if I change the boot drive to a external USB drive and restart, and the drive is not bootable, will I get stuck without speech or will it convert back to the internal harddrive? There is nothing wrong. I need to know these answers in case I need to restore my MacBook from a backup stored on my external harddrive.
I have a 2009 MacBook with Mountain Lion.

Thanks,
Rob
