Hi, On numerous machines. MBP with 8 GB RAM and spinning HD. Various iMacs with, of course, external keyboards. These are the Apple extended keyboards. Some with attached external HD's, some without. MacPro with numerous internal HD's but no external ones. All have likely been upgrade installs as I have yet to be convinced of the need for the clean install. In fact, as I was just testing my MBP this morning trying to duplicate the issue, Control stopped my speech instantly without fail. So, it's not an issue for me that would ever cause me to go through the effort of a total clean install.
