Good afternoon Helena:
Removing the files 
com.apple.internetaccounts.plist and 
com.apple.mail-shared.plist
from ~/Library/Preferences should resolve your Apple Mail issue. As Shawn 
mentioned, you will need to recreate these accounts which should be a pretty 
straight forward process.
