Hey all, So I had a buddy come over and help me delete a ton of messages from the gmail web page. The good, mac mail at least for now is working a lot lot better. Hopefully it still will be working in the morning. We deleted about 20,000 messages, but it looks like a lot of important messages might have gotten deleted that were archived, so not good. I am hoping that mammal is still populating as I am not sure how they got deleted. I noticed there is a bizarre folder in my gmail account called important, I did not create this folder or label, and it has everything from saved messages to messages I deleted in it, so it looks like I am going to have to go through it one by one. It seems like some how certain sent messages and deleted messages are duplicating themselves in either gmail or mac mail and staying on the server, any idea how to prevent this? Any settings anyone can suggest in the gmail web page to prevent this from happening again? I hate to say but after 8 years of using gmail I feel like all of the sudden I need an idiots guide to using gmail, any links to read send on over thanks, at
