After removing gmail and having it off my computer for a week, mac mail is working a lot better, but I am still experiencing quite a few annoying problems, and wanted to see if anyone had any work arounds or suggestions.
1. In Mac mail hitting return doesn't open the message no matter how many times I hit return. To see the message I have to either use the window chooser menu to pull it up or toggle between another open program and back to mail and the message I hit return on is front and center. 2. In iTunes the contextual menu just stops working meaning when I hit VO shift M nothing happens, this only happens in iTunes and a recent restart of my computer which usually fixes this did not. 3. Bluetooth issues really annoying as my track pad constantly loses connectivity but I am able to reconnect it in the bluetooth menu after disconnecting and reconnecting. My Logictech K760 keyboard works for five minutes and then will not reconnect to the computer but if I restart my computer it will reconnect. The keyboard worked absolutely fine in Mountain Lion and this started as soon as I installed Mavericks. 4. Programs are still very slow to launch and I am still getting what seems like way to many busy busy messages in many programs. Any advice?
