I used iwpriv on ath1, which I created with wlanconfig.
- First, I dowloaded the latest sources files from snv.
- Next, I builded the madwifi modules in an openembedded evironment for
the meshcube (mips-architecture)
- I installed the ipk packages on the Meshcube
- I loaded the ath-modules
insmod wlan/wlan.o
insmod ath_hal/ath_hal.o
insmod driver/ath_pci.o
- I created the ath1 interface with following command:
wlanconfig ath1 create wlandev wifi1 wlanmode adhoc
The interface works fine and I am able to connect to an ad-hoc network.
(however there is still a problem with intermittent operation and auto
rate, but this is known issue).
But when I run iwpriv ath1, no private ioctls is returned... after
rebooting problem remains
