"svn update"
getting r1397
"/!svn/ver/1397/trunk"
Compiled and installed, rebooted, ran "emerge --sync" to completion -- it
failed without any output before.
Also updated "world" which included downloading a 9.1 megabyte file -- all
OK.
It's working -- thanks to tim for finding the fix and to svens for
committing it.
