OK. Will try. Note this defect means the Howto Changing Interface Mode at
http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/ChangingMode is wrong, or there is
something specific to my card (a D-Link AWG-530 - this brand and type of
card has a large market share in North America.)
I also find this defect puzling as the VAP concept seems to a core feature
of the Atheros drivers. Also I have a hard time figuring out how an
interface could be simultaneously in station mode and in monitor mode.
Either it emits or it doesn't.
