Not 100% sure your problem cannot be solved another way, but usualy needed
set of channels could be set by picking correct regdomain and countrycode,
regdomain could be changed AFAIK only by editing eeprom of your atheros
card, either by ar5k - take a look here :

used windoze gui utility for it in past, problem is it is in czech
language and let you select only sets of channel suitable for Czech
Republic , so ar5k is probably better for you, but it is all a bit tricky
and if you will do something with it, read lot of sources first and even
then do it at your own risc . In short , don't blame me .
