As #332 is a duplicate of this BUG I add my new patches here. I suggest a
slightly different approach with less modifications and better separation
of ath and net80211 stuff.
My suggested patch (attachment:device-renaming.diff) uses the dev->open
pointers of the network devices to discover if a device is owned by the
driver. The advantage is that no extra list for created devices is
necessary. Furthermore I added two event handlers to the different
subsystems ath and net80211 to keep them seperate. This has the advantage
of lesser exported symbols.
