Could you please provide a full dump of the oops message that is most
probably generated when the crash occurs? [wiki:DevDocs/KernelOops] might
be of help here.
You say you have a patch, would it be possible to provide it? Have a look
at [wiki:DevDocs/PreparePatches] and [wiki:DevDocs/SigningPatches] for
more information.
