I've been having the exact same symptoms over here since the ng version of
the driver. I've never been able to get any oops or anything in the logs,
just a lock-up. numlock works for a little while, then stops. sysreq will
work when numlock works, but not afterwards. [[BR]]
I'm running Gentoo with kernel 2.6.15-gentoo-r1 [[BR]]
My card is a D-Link DWL-AG530 [[BR]]
lspci reports it as: "Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc.
AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01) [[BR]]

When I find time, I will try the patch mentioned at: [[BR]]
