I have had good results with recent madwifi-ng builds using xsupplicant
1.0.1. With older xsupplicant builds connections dropped after between 5
and 15 minutes, due to xsupplicant crashing.
I have not been able to get LEAP working with WPA supplicant, but then
again I stopped trying once xsupplicant was doing the job for me.
It might help for you to make sure you are using recent builds of both
madwifi and xsupplicant, and to check your xsupplicant log file for clues
as to why the connection drops.
