Comment:

 In r1480 I checked in some changes to SampleRate to make it pick a initial
 bit-rate
 based on the rssi of the node.

 I also checked in a change to send acks at low bit-rates in r1478.
 Beacons and Management frames should be sent at the lowest bit-rate
 available.

 I think these changes should fix the problems from the original bug
 report. If they are not,
 please re-open the bug and let me know. This is something I am very
 interested in fixing.
