Yes, I looked at a packet capture. I guess I could attach it here, but
here's the sequence:
madwifi on a 5211 send probe requests with 11b rates only
AP replies with 11b and 11g rates
madwifi sends association request with 11b and 11g rates
AP replies with 11b and 11g rates.
If the AP is et to operate in 11b mode, then probe respnse from AP only
has 11b rates, and madwifi sends an association request with 11b rates
only.
