I too get the same error when trying to build madwifi in SuSE 10. Pretty
sure the submitter is correct. I too believe it's a bug in the
Makefile...

Note that the assumptions that madwifi makes about the kernel source are
incorrect. The shell script attached doesn't seem to work in SuSE 10.
I too get the error message:
Makefile.inc:119: *** KERNELCONF: /lib/modules/2.6.13-15.8-default/ does
not exist.. Stop.
