 I've commented out panic() in if_media.c and get this codes:
 matching:
 0x10080
 0x20080
 not matching:
 0x10085
 0x30085

 No crashes anymore, but I don't know of side-effects (memory leakage?).
 I'd need more information on how to interprete these values. Do they come
 from the kernel, madwifi-ng, something else?
 besides that... the kernel probably should generate an oops instead of
 hardlocking the whole machine.
