Partly off-topic: madwifi-old vs. madwifi-ng was used to distinguish
between the code drop from Atheros which introduced VAP and stuff
(madwifi-ng) and the old codebase we were using until then. I believe that
this distinction no longer is required once we finish the 0.9.0 release -
madwifi-ng is then fully introduced and simply is "the" madwifi codebase.
As for the diction of the driver name: I for myself switched to MadWifi
back when we launched madwifi.org - it's camel case, so automatically
"wikified" (which is not the case for MADWifi, for example). Anyway, I
agree that we should decide about one notion and then stick to it. But I
suggest that should happen in its own ticket :)
And to finally get back on the topic: any other suggestions for the name
of the non-profit? Any objections against using madwifi.org?
