#666: System freeze with madwifi-ng r1626 on kernel 2.6.16.17

I get a complete system crash when trying to dump packets with airodump-
ng, while sending arp-request with aireplay-ng. When aireplay starts
sending, the system freezes completly. Sometimes the kernel gets a warning
out, saying i probably have a problem with my RAM modules.
i checked my RAM with memtest, it didnt find any errors in 8 hours. I only
have 1 module, so i cant rule out the hardware for sure, but the machine
runs just fine, except this problem.
Airodump or aireplay running alone does not cause any problems.
