#693: Compatibility issue of madwifi-ng in Redhat (2.4.21-27.EL)

I am using Proxim Gold Orinoco 11b/g PC card (MODEL: 8470-wd) on redhat
2.4.21-27.EL. I am able to see wifi0 and create ath0 using wlanconfig and
iwconfig. I am trying to setup two laptops with the same cards in adhoc
mode, but was not able to ping each other. The arp shows the hardware
address of the other end as (incomplete). Is this an issue with driver or
kernel ?
