i hope this the right place to say this :
you say that using this command : wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0
wlanmode adhoc
is the new code ,
and the command : iwconfig ath0 mode ad-hoc is the old code :
hmm this is very relative (as in french), because you are breaking
standards we linux people are fighting for for years, because of your
"new" thingy some distros dont manage your driver anymore, this very bad !
so please call it your way and not the new way, it is very disapointing
because the standard "iwconfig ath0 mode ad-hoc " doesnt work anymore, i
know how to type things on the command line but not all people do, i know
how to hack my distro to handle your way but not all know, it is so sad
that i hope i'm missing some thing !
i mean imagine a new nic driver that doesnt use ifconfig the standard way
anymore do you think it is a good idea ?
