I have the same problem with CM9 modules and madwifi 0.9.1, 0.9.0 and ng-
r1687.
there are no messages during the setting stage, so "iwpriv ath0 mode
1","iwconfig ath0 channel 108" and "iwconfig ath0 rate 54M", seems to be
ok, but if I run "iwconfig ath0" after these commands, I see, that ath0 is
still in "b mode" with channel "108" and rate "54M".then if I run ifconfig
ath0 up, i get some flags report and pc hangs up.
