For ham-radio purpose it is often necessary to have the FULL BAND of 2.4
GHz and the
maximum of power output of the WIFI adapter, so the best solution seems to
patch the
ah.h file putting the ISO CODE of JAPAN as default country code and
recompile the Madwifi drivers. Before recompiling and reinstalling the new
version, a good idea is to clean the system, i.e :
make uninstall (answer r (remove) to the question)
make clean (in the madwifi directory)
You do not need to convert the ISO CODE in HEX, just put it in DECIMAL in
ah.h
