Under FC5 kernel 2.6.17-1.2174 cards listed by madwifi.org do not appear
in the of available cards using system-config-network. More specifically
Netgear WG311 v1 is supposed to be supported by madwifi, but it does not
appear available as a selection. I tried to use another card, and when
activation is attempted, a hardware not found message is returned. Can a
user add an Atheros chipset board to the list of supported interfaces.
There is wording on the madwifi.org site that states the HAL should
support nearly every card available with an Atheros chipset and that soon
it will support all known hardware. Why do this not appear as available
via system-config-network, or is there perhaps another config utility that
must be used below this that has a more complete list of supported
 hardware?
